Mr. Sunil Peddi

Founder & Executive Director

Social Entrepreneur who is striving to create innovative solutions for pressing social and environmental challenges to accelerate sustainable rural development across rural India. With a background of agriculture and management, he combines his passion for entrepreneurship with a commitment to making a positive impact on the rural world.

He has an immense exposure to rural areas along with educational background of Masters in Agricultural Sciences from UAS-Bangalore (with ICAR-Junior Research Fellowship) and General Management Programme from IIM-Bangalore. He also worked at National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad as a Senior Research Fellow before embarking on his entrepreneurial journey and accelerating sustainable rural development through various initiatives.

Dr. Chinmayi V

Head of Programmes for Women

Dr. Chinmayi loves to work at grass roots and is dedicated for development of marginalized communities, particularly farm women and children of rural areas. Though born and brought up in Bangalore, she witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by rural people, igniting her passion for rural development. She pursued her Masters and PhD in Agricultural Extension, gaining insights into the systemic issues affecting disadvantaged rural communities.

After completing her education, Dr. Chinmayi worked with various grassroots organizations, gaining valuable experience in programme management, advocacy and capacity-building initiatives. Motivated by her experience and the pressing needs of underserved rural communities, she envisioned Navami Foundation with a focus on empowering women and children, promoting gender equality and creating a more just and inclusive society.

Mr. Sharankumar

Head of STEM & Operations-Karnataka

Sharankumar, son of a Farmer from Honnakiranagi village of Kalyan-Karnataka Region, is highly passionate about serving rural people. Born and raised in the rural area of Kalaburagi district, he experienced many challenges firsthand and became determined to create an impact for people from rural backgrounds. He has completed his Master of Social Works (MSW) along with Diploma in Agriculture and has developed a deep understanding of the NGO and social sector.

He has also undergone Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) training and gained experience working with farm resource centers, startups, Non-Governmental Organizations and other institutions contributing to rural development. Motivated by his exposure to rural communities, he joined the leadership team to establish Navami Foundation and continues to work at the village level with passion and dedication towards the development of rural people.
